- Fill out all information and gather all required documents
- Meet with the staff
- Pay retainer
- Review worksheet and drop off required documents
- Schedule a follow-up appointment to execute bankruptcy schedules
- Meet to execute bankruptcy schedules
- Pay remaining balance of attorney fees
- Review schedules
- Sign bankruptcy
- Our office will file the bankruptcy online with the Court
- You will receive notice in the mail notifying you of your Meeting of Creditors
- You do have to attend this meeting
- You should make arrangements to pick up any original documents that are at our office, which you will need to take to your Meeting of Creditors. Do not give the Trustee any original documents.
- If you filed a Chapter 7, you will have your Discharge papers within 3 months
- If you filed a Chapter 13, Mr. Ellis will attend a confirmation hearing on your behalf
- You do not have to attend this meeting
- Our office will contact you with information from the hearing
