Background and Education
Mr. Ellis is a lifetime resident of Sarasota, FL. He graduated from Sarasota High School in 1972. In 1976, Mr. Ellis graduated from the University of Florida with Honors, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree, and in 1979 he received his Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola University in New Orleans. Mr. Ellis was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1979 and additionally, was admitted to Federal practice in the Middle District Court of Florida in 1980. Since being admitted to practice, Mr. Ellis has focused his practice to the areas of Bankruptcy and Divorce.
